Our Tutors

At Math Around the Corner, our tutors are more than teachers. They are bright, inspiring individuals who serve as positive role models to our students. The majority of our tutors are college students at Texas Christian University. Tutors must hold a 3.6 GPA or higher, be in their sophomore year of college or above, and excel at teaching core concepts and study skills in order to tutor students at Math Around the Corner. We also provide professional teachers for tutoring in math, English, SAT/ACT, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Latin. If you’re a current college student or current/former teacher interested in earning extra money and making a difference in children’s lives through tutoring, we would love to meet you.
