Our Tutors

At Math Around the Corner, our tutors are more than teachers. They are bright, over-achieving students themselves who serve as positive role models to our students. The majority of our tutors are college students at Texas Christian University. Tutors must hold a 3.6 GPA or higher, be in their sophomore year of college or above, excel at teaching core concepts and study skills, and be highly referred by peers or teachers in order to tutor students at Math Around the Corner. We also provide professional teachers for tutoring in Physics, Algebra, Calculus, and other complex subjects.
