PSAT Tutoring & Boot Camps
The PSAT is a standardized, digital exam administered by College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It acts as a “pre-SAT” to measure students’ college readiness in reading, writing and math. 10th and 11th grade students are able to take the PSAT, which provides practice for the SAT and scholarship opportunities (NMSQT). The PSAT 8/9 is also offered and is designed to monitor progress and inform instruction for 8th and 9th graders.
At Math Around the Corner, our tutors are prepared to help your student achieve their test score goals. We offer one-on-one PSAT tutoring and group PSAT boot camps. Our tutoring is led by trained instructors and is tailored to the needs of the individual student. Similar to our SAT/ACT boot camps, PSAT boot camps are comprised of 3-5 students. This small group setting allows for individual attention and also the benefit of working with and learning from peers.
Whether students come to MAC for individual or group lessons, the ultimate goal is for them to leave with knowledge of the material, test-taking strategies to use during the exam, and confidence to achieve their ideal scores. We integrate many practice test opportunities in our lessons so that students can practice using their new skills before the actual test. Students enrolled in our test prep programs will receive homework after each lesson to be completed between sessions to help solidify content knowledge and encourage independent practice outside of MAC. Our scheduling options are flexible and are designed to work with your busy schedule.
Summer 2026 PSAT Boot Camps
Our PSAT boot camps at MAC will meet once weekly for six weeks over the summer. The PSAT 10/NMSQT group will meet from 10:00AM-12:00PM and the PSAT 8/9 group will meet from 2:00-4:00PM on the following dates:
