Book Club
Students will read Because of Winn Dixie in MAC’s Book Club. The book will be read together during Book Club time over the course of the week. Students will strengthen their reading skills by completing 5 chapters of the book each day. Fun activities based on the day’s reading will help enhance students’ comprehension of the chapters. This camp is perfect for avid readers and those looking to improve their reading skills.

Build My House
Calling all future architects! Students will learn about dimension, perimeter, and area by creating a complete diagram of their own house. Spatial reasoning skills will be strengthened as students use grid paper and rulers to build their houses. On the last day of camp, students will decorate their house and will have the opportunity to present their finished product!

Creative Writing Bootcamp
In this bootcamp, students will strengthen their writing skills and creativity by developing their own stories. Students will be led through a detailed writing process, with lessons on genre, brainstorming, figurative language, plot structure, and more. Writing creatively is a fun way to sharpen writing skills that will serve students in their academic careers. This camp is perfect for students who need to improve their writing skills and for those who want to take their writing to the next level!

Fraction Camp
This fan-favorite camp is back for another great week! Fraction Camp takes learners on a deep dive into the world of fractions. Fraction basics, operations, and real-world applications will guide our fun as we explore all the ways that fractions are used in our lives.

Learning How to Learn
Learning How to Learn will give students the tools to develop study skills and an understanding of how learning works. Lessons will be based on relevant learning science to build mindset, habits, and strategies for top-tier performance. A second week of in-depth lessons on the material covered in camp will be offered for those interested in continuing to build their learning skills.

Math Operations Camp
One of our most popular camps is back! Students will add, subtract, multiply, and divide their way through the week. Fun math games, puzzles, crafts, and more will help students solidify their math operations skills. Math Operations Camp will help your student keep their math skills sharp over summer break.

Train Your Brain
Train Your Brain is a week-long intensive program centered around content used in our Memory Lab. Students will exercise their brains to improve memory and focus. A tailored plan for the week will be created for each student participating in Train Your Brain. Students will practice working through distractors to mimic a classroom environment while strengthening their working memory and executive functioning skills.
